Role OverviewArisa Health is seeking a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (CADC) or Counselor In Training (CIT) for a 24/7 residential facility in Searcy. The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience in substance abuse or mental health treatment. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider.
What You Will Do
Complete necessary paperwork, assess clients, make referrals, develop substance abuse treatment plans, provide services, initiate transition/discharge planning, and assess treatment effectiveness.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team, CPR Certification and First Aid Training will be provided if needed.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or advanced specialized training
- 2-4 years of related experience
- CADC Certification or the ability to obtain
- High School Education
- CIT Certification or the ability to obtain
- 2+ years of experience preferred
