Role OverviewThe Patient Access PRN Specialist I position works on an 'as needed' basis and typically less than 16 hours per week. This role is the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a pleasant experience. The position involves obtaining demographic, financial, and insurance information, conducting intensive screening, and coordinating the collection of patient liabilities.
What You Will Do
Interview patients and/or their representatives, obtain complete and accurate demographic, financial, and insurance information, conduct intensive screening, and coordinate the collection of patient liabilities. Verify insurance benefits and coverage, respond to customer requests, and analyze and rectify customer concerns.
