Role Overview

Join Trex as a Process Engineer to help establish and maintain operating parameters for plant equipment, provide technical support to production, maintenance, and process teams, and oversee the proper functioning of manufacturing lines. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes and procedures for wood/plastic composites, ensuring efficient operation and adherence to quality standards.

What You Will Do

Develop and implement processes and procedures for plant equipment, provide technical leadership to production teams, assume responsibility for the proper operation of manufacturing lines, lead project and process development, and pursue capital projects based on cost-benefit analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • At least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing (or chemical process operations) environment
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and procedures of wood/plastic composites and/or extrusion processes
