Job Description
Quanex is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Winnebago, IL to optimize PVC extrusion manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • At least two years of relevant Engineering experience, preferably within an extrusion manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing flows & processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications, including CAD and MS Office
  • Sold professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at all levels within the organization
  • Solid understanding and demonstrated use of statistical controls and GD&T, related to quality
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA safety standards and 6S processes
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
