Role Overview

The Process Improvement Analyst I directs and coordinates quality improvement activities and projects at the hospital to foster a culture of continuous process improvement. This position is responsible for data collection, analysis, and reporting for key quality and performance indicators. Working with all organizational levels, the analyst identifies opportunities for improvement, structures efforts to achieve targeted goals, and establishes measurement systems to monitor performance.

A day in the life of a Process Improvement Analyst I at Hackensack Meridian Health includes: Ensures data integrity by accurately collecting, analyzing, and proofreading information from valid sources to produce clear, error-free, and user-friendly reports. Designs, develops, and modifies database forms and reports to meet user-specific needs for data capture and information retrieval.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business, engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 or more years of experience in quality and process improvement in Healthcare
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office platforms
