Job Description
We are seeking a Process Safety Engineer to support our mission to provide clean energy solutions. As a Process Engineer II, you will apply hazard analysis methodologies to address flammable gas/vapor, cause-effect analysis, reactive chemistry hazards and predict operational consequences. You will report to the Process Safety Engineering Manager and be located at Ogden, UT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required in Chemical, Mechanical or Environmental.
  • 5+ years experience working in a chemical plant or similar industry
  • Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations, including Process Safety Management and Risk Management Planning Regulations
  • Skills in formal problem analysis/resolution techniques such as HAZOP, what-if
  • Proficiency with drawings, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and other engineering drawings.
