Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Secretary of State (SOTS) is hiring a full-time Processing Technician to process payments for various transactions, manage financial statements, and provide customer service by phone, email, and at the public service counter.

Requirements

  • three years of clerical work experience
  • one year of experience in a full range of clerical duties
  • bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and communicate orally)
  • consistently offers excellent customer support and organized workflow management
  • experience with document authentication under the Hague Convention
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • excellent written and verbal communication
  • strong analytical thinking and computer proficiency, including work with MS Office, Salesforce, Freshdesk, and Avaya Cloud Office
  • experience working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • experience multi-tasking and performing effectively in a high-volume, transactional setting
  • experience learning new procedures and openness to adapt to evolving processes
  • experience following established procedures and ensures timely responses to customers
  • experience managing and completing processing tasks from start to finish
  • Connecticut Notary Public
