Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Secretary of State (SOTS) is hiring a full-time Processing Technician to process payments for various transactions, manage financial statements, and provide customer service by phone, email, and at the public service counter.
Requirements
three years of clerical work experience
one year of experience in a full range of clerical duties
bilingual in Spanish (read, write, and communicate orally)
consistently offers excellent customer support and organized workflow management
experience with document authentication under the Hague Convention
strong attention to detail and accuracy
excellent written and verbal communication
strong analytical thinking and computer proficiency, including work with MS Office, Salesforce, Freshdesk, and Avaya Cloud Office
experience working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
experience multi-tasking and performing effectively in a high-volume, transactional setting
experience learning new procedures and openness to adapt to evolving processes
experience following established procedures and ensures timely responses to customers
experience managing and completing processing tasks from start to finish
