Job Description
The New York City Department of Sanitation seeks an experienced Procurement Analyst to work in its Contracts Unit, responsible for procurement of goods, services, and/or construction, and processing procurement documents and contracts.

Requirements

  • Preparing solicitation documents required for various methods of procurement
  • Reviewing solicitation documents submitted by contractors to ensure conformity to solicitation requirements
  • Coordinating and processing bid documents and the timely submission of bid packages for public advertising
  • Evaluating bid proposals for the selection of the apparent low bidder and vetting the bidder’s qualifications to complete the contract work successfully
  • Analyzing and providing information on vendors' and contractors' past performance, financial status and other factors which might affect delivery, timeliness or quality of contracted goods and services
