Procurement Analyst

This Procurement Analyst will support the procurement area on administrative related tasks, working closely with procurement and operations teams to facilitate communication with vendors and accounts payable. The role will involve process purchase orders, manage inquiries, expediting and status reviews, and ensure vendors receive payments on time. The analyst will also support the maintenance of Departmental (KPI's) key performance indicators and prepare and coordinate all aspects of the bidding process.

What You Will Do

The Procurement Analyst will process purchase orders, manage vendor communication, and ensure compliance with operations requirements. They will also support the development and maintenance of procurement processes and procedures between stakeholders in the business. Additionally, the analyst will manage reporting of procurement performance metrics and reconcile invoices to purchase orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited College or University
• Three to five years related experience and/or training/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Negotiation, Cost Analysis, Vendor Relationships, and accounting terms and concepts
• Understanding of concrete/construction industry (preferred)
• Awareness of procurement processes, accounts payables, and receiving functions (preferred)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Flexible and adaptable team player with service-oriented mindset
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with superior organizational and analytical abilities
