Role OverviewThe Procurement Analyst will be responsible for conducting complex procurements for goods and services, utilizing various procurement methods. The role involves preparing and reviewing solicitation and contract documents, conducting market research and analysis, and participating in negotiation meetings with vendors and end-users. The Procurement Analyst will also lead proposal evaluation committees, select proposed contract awardees, and conduct cost/price analyses. Additionally, the role involves developing procedures for the administration of contracts and procurement activities, monitoring vendor performance, and effecting contract modifications.
What You Will Do
The Procurement Analyst will gather information from city agencies, DOHMH, and DCAS engineers to build out contract specifications and changes in rules and regulations surrounding cooling tower maintenance. The role involves working with the contracted vendor to release FAQs and other best practices on utilizing contracts, changes in the contract or potential modifications. The Procurement Analyst will also coordinate with other procurement staff in informing city agencies on contract changes and coordinate with DCAS engineers on notifying agencies on potential high levels within their cooling towers.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and six months of satisfactory full-time professional experience in procurement of goods, services, construction or construction-related services, or professional, technical or administrative experience in contract negotiation/management
- An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, and 18 months of satisfactory, full-time professional experience as described above
- A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two and one-half years of satisfactory full-time professional experience as described above
- A combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above
