Role Overview

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for processing procurements for services, goods, and construction in an accurate and timely manner using the appropriate procurement methods. The role involves drafting solicitation specifications, processing purchase orders, and consulting with various DYCD units to ensure correct goods and services are being procured.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities include drafting solicitation specifications, processing purchase orders, consulting with DYCD units, following procurement methods and rules, maintaining and updating procurement status reports and databases, and processing contracts to registration.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
  • Six months of satisfactory full-time professional experience in procurement of goods, services, construction or construction-related services, or professional, technical or administrative experience in contract negotiation/management
  • An associate degree or completion of 60 semester credits from an accredited college, and 18 months of satisfactory, full-time professional experience in procurement or contract negotiation/management
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two and one-half years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in procurement or contract negotiation/management
