Job Description
Carter Machinery Company is hiring a Procurement Assistant to coordinate and support purchasing activities. The role involves vendor onboarding, purchase order processing, RFP coordination, and contract management.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of purchasing procedures, vendor management, and sourcing practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with CODA and Microsoft Dynamics (D365) a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with procure-to-pay process.
  • Promote a positive customer experience.
