Role OverviewJoin our Procurement team supporting the LGC Diagnostics and Genomics Business Unit as a strategic and results-driven Procurement Category Manager. This role will be responsible for managing key product categories and strategic vendor relationships, supporting purchasing activities within our sites while also leading initiatives to improve processes and optimize spend.

Key responsibilities include category management, supplier & vendor management, process improvement & team collaboration, and general procurement support.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills
- Proven experience in process improvement and change management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Team management skills and experience
- Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., ERP, e-sourcing platforms)
- Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
