Procurement Coordinator

Apex Clean Energy is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Procurement Team to assist with preparing and coordinating the development and implementation of renewable energy projects through purchasing goods and services from external resources critical to project success. This position plays a vital part in the company’s overall business strategy as it requires strategic planning and analysis to acquire these goods and services at the best possible value.

What You Will Do

Assists the procurement team by qualifying suppliers to ensure that they comply with Apex’s corporate policies. Prepares formal requests for proposals for goods and services. Evaluates project, consultant, and equipment proposals. Awards and rejects suppliers. Monitors the supplier’s performance in terms of delivery and pricing by interfacing with other internal Apex departments and team members.

• Knowledge of renewable energy systems, engineering principles, project management processes, and construction management processes
• Experience with energy storage systems, solar and wind farms is highly desirable
• Experience with project execution processes is essential
