Job Description
The Procurement Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Executive Administration procurement unit and ensures all procurement activities comply with internal agency policies and the New York City Procurement Policy Board (PPB) Rules.

Requirements

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate a team of procurement analysts and support staff
  • Provide guidance on complex procurements, problem solving, and policy interpretation
  • Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, including: Needs assessment, Scope of work development, Solicitation, Bid evaluation and award recommendation, and Contract registration and execution
  • Ensure procurements are processed efficiently and meet agency deadlines
  • Adhere to New York City Procurement Policy Board rules, agency procedures, and applicable laws
  • Track procurement metrics including cycle times, backlog, and compliance indicators
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and service delivery
