Role OverviewWe're seeking a Produce Manager to join our team at Kj's Market. As a Produce Manager, you will be responsible for achieving maximum sales volume, maintaining inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company standards. You will also be responsible for supervising and training departmental staff, and building a talent planning bench for the department.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include following the weekly company sales program, achieving budgeted gross profit figures, and maintaining coolers and freezers to standard. You will also be responsible for unloading trucks, maintaining backroom storage, and ensuring direct reports understand expectations for performance.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We're looking for someone with a friendly and outgoing personality, who can work well with others and has effective communication and guest service skills. You should be able to lift 50 lbs regularly and 25 lbs constantly, and be able to read and understand information and direction.
