Role OverviewThe Produce Manager is responsible for the successful operation and profitability of the produce department, including training, directing, and monitoring department staff. Department Managers are responsible for the success of their own department and are required to fulfill the duties of the Manager on Duty (MOD) on a scheduled basis.
What You Will Do
Provide World Class Customer Service, create an inviting produce department, order produce, manage margin, COGS, and overall department profitability, and ensure all in-stock products meet company standards.

Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- 1-2 years of experience in a grocery/retail/produce environment
- Ability to supervise others
- Ability to pass food safety training courses and/or certifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to take direction and follow through
- Must be cashier trained and able to count currency
