Job Description
We are seeking a Produce Manager to effectively operate the Produce Department, achieve sales and profit goals, and provide exceptional customer service. The Produce Manager will be responsible for key responsibilities such as greeting customers, providing product information, and managing inventory. Ingles Markets is a regional grocery store chain with growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred
  • SERV Safe Certification is preferred
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing needs especially during times of high volume and/or stress
  • Must be able to read and do simple math problems
  • Wants to be part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • 18 years of age or older
