Produce/Primetime Assistant Department Leader

This role provides leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience in the produce department. The assistant department leader partners with the store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture where associates are aligned to the business strategy. The role is based in Midlothian, VA and is full-time.

What You Will Do

You will promote trust and respect among associates, establish department performance goals, and empower associates to meet targets through teamwork. Responsibilities include ensuring orders are put up in a timely manner, rotating product, replenishing throughout the day, and training associates on job performance. You will also create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome by answering questions, making suggestions, and locating products.
