Product Design Manager

As a Product Design Manager at Anthropic, you will lead a team of product designers, mentor and coach them, and contribute to the strategic direction of our tools. You will work closely with engineers and researchers to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps. You will design and ship digital products end-to-end, with a focus on user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship.

What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities will include managing and mentoring 2-6+ product designers, establishing and maintaining design quality standards, coordinating cross-team design efforts, and advocating for design within the broader organization. You will also contribute to hiring, onboarding, and building design team culture, and help define and evolve design processes, tools, and ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience managing or leading product designers, including coaching, feedback, and career development
• Experience designing and shipping digital products end-to-end
• A portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking and polished UI craftsmanship
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
• 8+ years of product design experience, with 2+ years in a lead or management role
