Job Description
Bloomberg is seeking a Product Manager for Private Funds to lead the initiative of building a foundational data layer that can power private markets workflows across the Terminal, Enterprise products, and portfolio and risk solutions. The role will define and execute the product strategy for Bloomberg's private funds and foundational private markets data capabilities, with an initial focus on private equity and private credit.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management or relevant experience in private markets, financial data, or investment workflow products
  • Strong knowledge of the Asset Owner (LP) workflows
  • Understanding of private equity and/or private credit workflows
  • Experience working with complex datasets and data sourcing
  • Experience building or managing data products, platforms, or APIs
  • Ability to translate ambiguous user problems into clear product requirements
