Role OverviewCohesity is seeking an experienced and passionate Product Attorney to join our Intellectual Property & Product (IPP) legal team. The Product Senior Counsel will provide strategic legal counsel on all aspects of software product and SaaS development, deployment, and lifecycle management.
What You Will Do
Partner with the Product Organization on upcoming roadmaps and key product developments, provide guidance and support to product, engineering, and other departments during the product release process, and lead cross-functional initiatives to promote best practices and ensure alignment on Product strategies, security, and strategic initiatives.

We're looking for a seasoned product attorney with 8+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years of in-house legal experience supporting Products, and a Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and develop deep relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years legal experience
- 5+ years of in-house legal experience supporting Products
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
- Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the jurisdiction of hire
- Proven ability to manage and improve scalable processes
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and develop deep relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of exhibiting sound judgment across multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree in computer science or related field (or comparable experience)
