Job Description
This position will work to process donated items into inventory to be sold in our Stores and will interact with customers while stocking the sales floor. Excellent customer service skills are a must!

Requirements

  • Sort donated items by type (books, media, textiles, housewares, etc.)
  • Hang, size and price, tag, and prepare items to be sold on the sales floor
  • Inspect and quick test items as needed that plug-in or run on batteries to ensure the product is in good workable condition
  • Make decisions to price according to Goodwill standards of quality and value of product
  • Provide excellent customer service to fellow staff and customers
  • Rotate or pull old or unsold product in a timely manner from the sales floor
  • Follow all retail center policies and procedures
  • Ensure work areas are clear and organized and adhere to continuous improvement standards
