Job Description
BASF is seeking a Production Engineer to join its Performance Materials team in Geismar, LA. The successful candidate will support daily operations, lead plant improvement initiatives, and drive process safety and environmental enhancements.

Requirements

  • Educational background in Engineering (preferably Chemical) and professional experience with Production, process, or mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Strong project management experience, proven troubleshooting and analytical skill, and ability to provide on-call support.
  • Knowledge of DCS and advanced process control systems, as well as Process Improvement Methodologies (LEAN; Six Sigma).
