Role Overview

The Production Hourly role involves processing product using tools, manual labor, and equipment provided in accordance with USDA and Pilgrim's Company product standards and procedures. The role requires observing equipment operation, notifying personnel of malfunctions, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The employee must also assist others with the skills and knowledge gained from the position and observe all company personnel, quality, safety, and food safety policies.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of the Production Hourly role include processing product according to operating procedures and quality/quantity expectations, observing equipment operation, and recognizing and acting on incidents and safety risks. The employee must also participate in process improvement and problem solving utilizing continuous improvement and rational thinking methodologies.
