Role OverviewJoin the JBS team on the production floor as a general laborer, performing tasks such as operating heavy equipment, inspecting meat, and maintaining a clean work environment. Work in a fast-paced, production and maintenance setting with exposure to chemicals, machinery, and knives. Must be able to work 50+ hours, including weekends.
What You Will Do
Use assortment of knives, steel, and a hook to perform job tasks, operate heavy equipment, bag and box product, and maintain a clean work environment. May have to shave or wash animal meat before packing and inspect meat or meat products and/or packaging.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work hands on at high speed, lift over 50 pounds, and stay aware of surroundings to notify a supervisor if a hazard is recognized. Must have good attendance and safety records.
