Role OverviewThe Production Maintenance Technician II will work independently or with a helper to perform skilled duties in various areas, including hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, metalwork, HVAC, electrical, electronics, control, and instrumentation. The technician will troubleshoot and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and evaluate equipment improvements to improve efficiency and capability.
What You Will Do
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment and systems, troubleshoot and correct equipment problems, and evaluate and recommend equipment improvements. Additionally, the technician will mentor junior technicians and document work performed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 8 years of related experience, additional specialized training, and certification. The technician must be able to lift 50 pounds, hear and respond quickly to alarms, and work in non-climate controlled areas.
