Role OverviewThe Production Maintenance Technician will work independently or with others to perform a variety of semiskilled and skilled duties in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, metalwork, HVAC, electrical, electronics, control and instrumentation.
What You Will Do
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production and facilities equipment and systems, troubleshoot and correct equipment problems, and evaluate and recommend equipment improvements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have the ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds unassisted, hear and respond quickly to alarms and radio communications, and work in non-climate controlled areas.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 years of related experience or additional specialized training with certification
- Ability to occasionally lift 50 pounds unassisted
- Normal or corrected vision with good depth perception and no color blindness
- Ability to climb ladders and use personnel lifting devices to work at heights
