Job Description
The Production Manager is responsible for all areas of Plant Operations, including safe, cost efficient and timely production of required goods, coordination of materials and inventories, production scheduling, and process improvement and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, Business or Engineering; or Associate / Technical Degree in related field with five years of management experience in high volume manufacturing
  • Hands on experience with Engineering/Maintenance Systems Programs
  • Experience with self-directed work forces a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate up and down in the organization
  • Systems and continuous improvement orientation
  • Working knowledge of OSHA guidelines and regulations
  • Working knowledge of statistics and Quality metrics
  • Able to solve complex problems outside of normal processes
  • Excellent management / leadership aptitude
  • Computer experience (Windows, MS Office products, Visio and other)
  • Strong analytical communication skills
  • Understanding of relevant environmental regulations
