Role OverviewPerfetti Van Melle is seeking a Production Operator to join their growing team. The Production Operator will perform all functions associated with the start-up, shutdown, lockout, sanitation, and operation of the packaging process equipment. The role requires efficient and safe operation of equipment, maintaining product quality, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure continuous operation.
What You Will Do
The Production Operator will be responsible for package integrity and quality checks, data entry, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. They will also be responsible for notifying maintenance or supervisor when line or piece of line is down and needs attention.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to work overtime hours
- Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities (preferred)
