Role OverviewThe Production Painter works in the paint department, performing applications on customer parts such as paint, silk screen, dry lube, and other organic applications. The role requires knowledge of painting and silk screen equipment, ability to perform bondable paint requirements, and maintaining accurate inspection records. The Production Painter must meet quality, environmental, productivity, and safety standards while working on multiple jobs simultaneously.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of the Production Painter include performing painting functions according to traveler instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints and Tech Data sheets, and maintaining accurate account of own time and records. The role also involves performing daily department maintenance, startups, shut downs, and PMs, monitoring paint and MEK inventories, and communicating re-orders to purchasing.
