Role OverviewThe Production Planner is responsible for ensuring efficient coordination of materials, inventory, and production schedules to support operational goals and deadlines. The Production Planner will not only identify these constraints but also collaborate with other departments to resolve or overcome these issues while coordinating communication through customer service to the customer.
What You Will Do
Plans, schedules, and determines priorities of job orders using MRP system, determines realistic lead times and communicates to Customer Service, works closely with department Leads to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions, and participates in daily production meeting.
