Role OverviewThe Production Planner will coordinate schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of the assigned department or facility. This role involves developing production schedules, attending daily meetings, and monitoring customer releases and forecasts. The Production Planner will work closely with the Supplier Planner to ensure raw materials and components are available to support production schedules.
What You Will Do
Develop production schedules, attend daily meetings, monitor customer releases and forecasts, collaborate with the Supplier Planner, analyze production capacity and labor availability, and maintain accurate production planning data within ERP/MRP systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem resolution skills, be proficient with MRP systems, and have experience working with OEM customer releases and demand schedules. The Production Planner will work in a combination of office and manufacturing floor environment, with occasional extended hours and exposure to production equipment and varying noise levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred or High School Diploma or GED with equivalent work experience, required
- Minimum of three (3) years of materials scheduling experience in a Tier 1 automotive facility, preferred
- Experience working with OEM customer releases and demand schedule, preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience with supplier planner/ordering, preferred
- Detailed oriented in nature, preferred
- Excellent problem resolution skills, required
- Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, required
- Proficient with MRP systems, PLEX experience is required
