Role OverviewThe Production Safety Specialist reports to the Plant Manager and assists in the creation, execution, and upkeep of safety protocols and procedures within the production environment. This is achieved through active presence on the production floor, conducting data and program analyses, providing training, fostering a culture of safety, and overseeing administrative responsibilities associated with safety initiatives.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement safety and ergonomic programs for production, establish standards, guidelines, and procedures, and train associates in safety policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of previous food production and safety experience
- Osha familiarity for food production environment
- Osha 10 & 30 certification a plus
- Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs.
- Ability to withstand prolonged work assignments in cold temperatures
