Role OverviewThe Production Supervisor directs and manages the trailer production activities of their area, ensuring the area meets the production schedule and that the trailers produced are consistent with the Engineering drawings provided. The role involves managing employees, ensuring safety compliance, and implementing Lean Manufacturing activities.
What You Will Do
The primary responsibilities include ensuring individual and employee compliance with all safety rules and requirements, managing and directing the activities of employees, and implementing preventative measures. The supervisor will also attend weekly safety meetings, communicate safety guidelines to employees, and discipline employees when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have team leader experience, a graduate of Team Leader Academy or a college degree, and utilize Microsoft Office products. The candidate should have knowledge and/or skill in all processes responsible for, including production techniques and procedures, safety rules and regulations, inspection criteria and methods, and plant-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- High School/or GED required
- Team Leader experience
- Graduate of Team Leader Academy or college degree
- Utilizes Microsoft Office Products
- Knowledge and/or skill in all processes responsible for
- Ability to effectively instruct, direct, supervise, and lead individuals and teams of people
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other customer specifications
- Certification in Emergency First Aid, CPR and Automatic External Defibrillator
- Ability to speak, read and write effectively in English
