Role OverviewCardinal FG-Durant is a team-based facility that produces flat glass for residential windows. The Production Technician role involves working in a safety-sensitive, clean, and temperature-controlled environment, rotating 12-hour shifts, and performing various tasks such as glass handling, automation line operation, and offline cutting system operation.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities of a Production Technician include packing glass onto racks, operating and monitoring automation/robot equipment, verifying glass meets customer specifications, and closing racks of glass using various packaging materials.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Tape measure reading and basic math skills
- Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate on a computer in a windows-based environment
- Able to safely lift 50 pounds
