Role OverviewThe Production Technician will operate and maintain systems associated with a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) facility, ensuring safety awareness and direction to continuously improve performance. The role involves maintaining regulatory compliance, participating in a multi-year skill progression plan, and conducting safety meetings.
What You Will Do
Operate the control board, make operational rounds, perform PM/PDM activities, and troubleshoot complex instrumentation equipment and regulating devices. Perform mechanical work, inspections, calibrations, installations, repairs, diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to interpret P&ID's and electrical schematics, and experience with power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience.
Requirements
- 2 Year Associate's Degree in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation/Controls or Production/Process Technology or equivalent work experience
- Production Technician III: 0 - 2 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 4 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience
- Production Technician II – I: 2 - 5 years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 5 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience
- Production Technician CRO: 5+ years of experience in a CCGT facility in an Operations or Maintenance position; OR 10 years of power plant operations/maintenance/electrical experience
