Role OverviewResponsible for all activities associated with safely operating production machines, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations to meet customer demand. Participate in Plant Safety Committee and follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes).
What You Will Do
Work safely at all times, be aware of surroundings, and understand and comply with Pratt Industries Safety rules, operating procedures, and help hold co-workers responsible for safety-related items. Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work safely, follow GMPs, and maximize equipment utilization. Must be able to work overtime as necessary, sometimes on short notice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the packaging industry; paper, plastics, converting
- 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation
- Lift Truck Operator License (may be required)
