Role OverviewThe Production Utility will be responsible for safely operating production machines, including setup, operation, and cleanup, to meet customer demand. They will also be responsible for recommending improvements to operations and participating in the Plant Safety Committee.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Production Utility will include working safely at all times, following GMPs, and learning and complying with Pratt Industries quality procedures and policies. They will also be responsible for maximizing equipment utilization, improving set up times and downtime, and training and assisting other employees.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the packaging industry (paper, plastics, converting)
- 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation
- Ability to read and follow instructions
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to apply concepts of high school math
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations
