Role OverviewThis position is responsible for operating a round knife to shave down and detail animal skins after they have been pickled and prior to being tanned. The job requires operating a fleshing wheel, fleshing down and detailing animal skins, and maintaining a positive consistency in five attributes: Quality, Attitude, Teamwork, Production, and Attendance.

Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age to work on shop floor of tanning industry
- High School Diploma (preferred)
- Shaving experience (not required)
