Role Overview

The Professional Development Education Manager oversees the planning, implementation, evaluation, and administration of the Trone Professional Development Academy (TPDA). This role manages program operations, participant support, curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, budget oversight, and program evaluation to ensure professional development initiatives align with organizational goals and workforce development needs. The position also serves as Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned.

What You Will Do

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Trone Professional Development Academy (TPDA), collaborate with agency leadership to develop and implement professional development initiatives, establish annual program goals, timelines, and performance measures, and serve as the primary point of contact for program participants, staff, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Social Work, Adult Learning, Education, or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in learning and development, curriculum development, instructional design, or human services work environment, ideally in a social services or behavioral health setting
  • Professional facilitation training or background as professional educator
  • Experience managing programs, projects, or initiatives with multiple stakeholders
