Role Overview

This position will ensure that DDA's policies, regulations, and practices are person-centered and family-oriented, address equity and access to services, and align with the agency's mission to support children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to live their best lives.

What You Will Do

Provide policy expertise from the family perspective, lead the Maryland Community of Practice for Supporting Families (MD CoP-SF), and advance systems change using the Charting the LifeCourse framework.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, psychology, education, counseling, or a related field.
  • Six years professional experience in health services, three years must have been in Developmental Disabilities professional work related to treatment and development of developmentally disabled clients and two years must have been at the managerial or supervisory level.
