Role OverviewThe Program Assistant VI will provide comprehensive administrative support for the U.S. Department of State, including onboarding, housing operations, and personnel actions. The role requires maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records, ensuring compliance with Department policies and federal regulations, and providing guidance to candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the hiring and onboarding process.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include maintaining and updating candidate records, processing new hires into Department databases, coordinating with Diplomatic Security for security clearances, and preparing new employee orientation materials. The Program Assistant VI will also respond to candidate inquiries, provide administrative support, and maintain hiring, onboarding, customer service, and statistical reports.
