Role Overview

The Program Associate supports the work of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) by providing logistical, clerical, technical, accounting, and other support to the Center for Consumer Protection (CCP) and other areas of the Association. The position is an administrative role, not to develop policy or provide legal services, but to provide support as needed. The Program Associate reports directly to the Director of the CCP.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include providing administrative support, monitoring and prioritizing communications, supporting CCP counsel in program content related matters, editing and formatting documents, running online events, updating websites, and assisting with accounting and data usage. Travel may be required to events to provide on-site support.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in a business-related field
  • Approximately 3-5 years of professional experience
  • Experience supporting a leadership team in a state attorney general office, especially in legal areas for consumer protection, antitrust, and charities
