Job Description
Role Overview

The Program Billing Specialist coordinates timely billing and collection of Residential Family Support, Department of Children and Families, and CBC contracts, as well as Social Security Benefits for the youth in care, and ensures reconciliation of accounts receivable by ledgers for these services.

What You Will Do

Processes monthly billing, prepares aging reports, performs follow-up procedures, works with responsible staff, and keeps current contracts on file.

Must have the ability to understand complex billing and reconciliation procedures, communicate effectively with outside agencies, and work with sensitive and confidential information.

Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • minimum of three years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting position
  • vocational training or college work in a related field may be substituted for the required experience
  • high level of PC and software knowledge
