Job Description
Role Overview

The Program Coordinator is responsible for providing programmatic, operations, and administrative support to the Associate Director and to a Program team. The Coordinator will assist with the effective functioning of the Program to include event coordination and planning, compiling project briefs, leading knowledge management efforts, support material assistance efforts, stakeholder communication, external engagement, and support for emergency resource distribution.

What You Will Do

Essential duties include providing timely project management and administrative support, supporting logistics, recording and preparing meeting minutes, tracking progress on action items and deadlines, supporting onboarding for new team members, coordinating procurement activities, developing and updating templates and forms, maintaining shared internal filing systems, and providing oversight of emergency resource tracking and distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 4 years previous work experience in refugee resettlement or community coordination
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain relationships both internal and external to the organization
  • Ability to act with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with emphasis on drafting correspondence and other communication with limited supervision
  • Professional maturity and strong decision-making
  • Forward thinking mindset, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power point) and social media platforms
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to travel to locations in local network for in-person meetings and conferences and to provide on-site support
