Role OverviewThe Program Counselor will work with youth to develop and implement programs and activities that promote teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The role involves building relationships among staff and using collective resources to provide comprehensive programs and activities. The Program Counselor will oversee an array of programming and services for court-involved youth, develop innovative programming and services, and work with stakeholders to identify trends, track data, and implement effective training and staff development.
What You Will Do
The Program Counselor will be responsible for performing duties such as developing and implementing cultural, educational, and recreational programming for all Secure Detention youth, working directly with youth to develop and implement programs and activities, building self-confidence in youth, and encouraging healthy lifestyles for youth.

Requirements
- baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
