Role OverviewThe Program Director for the Master in Science Program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling will oversee the planning, implementation, and oversight of the CMHC academic program, teach core graduate-level coursework, and contribute to scholarly and professional development efforts in the mental health discipline.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will plan and implement the CMHC program, oversee recruitment and hiring of faculty and staff, establish and maintain relationships with clinical sites, and teach in a hybrid format. They will also contribute to the program's CACREP accreditation process and engage in service to the university.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling, a minimum of three years of clinical experience, and a minimum of three years of higher education experience with successful teaching. They will also be licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor or eligible to seek and gain licensure.
