Role OverviewAs a Program Instructor at Camp Hanes, you will assist in implementing science-based curriculum and facilitating conference group activities. You will gain knowledge and skills of camp operation during the shoulder seasons and improve your teaching ability with elementary and middle school age youth. You will also help facilitate weekend groups with adults and families.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with ecology classes, evening activities, group games, and team building activities. You will also assist with running meals, cleaning, and other maintenance as required. You will be responsible for helping host and oversee the group's needs while at camp.

Requirements
- BA/BS Degree preferred or equal job experience
- Experience in customer service and creating positive experiences with guests
- Skills/experience in working with youth
- Comfortable performing skills in an outdoor environment for a majority of the day
- Excellent communication skills while working with peers and guests
- Energetic, mission-driven, team-oriented individual
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and traverse uneven terrain
