Role OverviewThe Program Leader is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing academic and enrichment activities targeting middle school youth at the CYC Aptos Beacon Center.

Develop and oversee activities, provide academic tutoring, establish a positive learning environment, and collaborate with school and Beacon staff.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred or 48 college units
- Knowledge of youth development practices
- 1+ years of experience planning and facilitating enrichment activities
- Classroom management, conflict mediation, and restorative practices experience
- Experience working with ethnically diverse youth and families
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Technology skills (Google docs & sheets, MS Office)
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin, Spanish, or Tagalog (preferred)
- Ability to lift or move at least 25lbs
